How To Make Acapellas 10X Easier To Work

I've been using LALAL.AI to easily create acapellas from full songs, and I've found it to be the best tool for the job. However, if you're into music production, then you know that working with acapellas, in general, can be a bit of a pain. But what if I told you that there was a hack that would make it 10X easier to work with acapella? Keep reading to find out more!
Traditionally, when you want to create an acapella, you upload a song to LALAL.AI, and then download the acapella track.
Here's how it works:
- STEP 1: Import the original full song into your DAW
- STEP 2: Crop it to start on a downbeat
- STEP 3: Make sure it is aligned to the grid by listening to it while your metronome is on. Do this until you get the song perfectly in sync with the metronome.
- STEP 4: Crop it to end on a downbeat
- STEP 5: Render your newly cropped full song (you should write the original BPM in the title for easy reference)
- STEP 6: Upload our newly cropped song to LALAL.AI and then make your acapella
- STEP 7: Import your acapella into your DAW
Now you can easily warp it to new tempos and move the start marker around on the grid and achieve the desired results each time! This technique makes it much easier to work with acapellas.
